What’s a session like?
During the 90-minute session, we’ll taste 5-6 beers. (Most of it will be blind tasting.) The tastings are laid back and inclusive, with the goal of building beer knowledge, accurate descriptive language, confidence in your tasting skills, and understanding of BJCP styles! I’ll provide the beers, plus water and a starchy nibble (crackers, bread, etc.).

How “advanced” is this advanced beer tasting?
We’ll do some deep dives into tasting technique, styles and brewing ingredients and techniques. Don’t worry if you’re not super confident in your tasting skills or beer knowledge. This is a snob-free and judgement-free zone! But, we won’t slow things way down to cover Beer 101 basics of beer and styles. Regardless of your knowledge and experience, enjoy jumping in the deep end of the beer pool and you’ll learn a lot from your beers and your peers!
